Texting While driving Poem

Texting While Driving
She gets in the car,
With her friends going very far

Road trip on that warm summer
night, her phone beeps
She answers, blinded by its light

Tap, Tap on her screen, she looks
up as all her friends scream

Blinded by another light yet
again ——- CRASH…

No time to react there’s
blood all over the dash

Their night is over, as
well as their lives

This is the work of texting & driving
the only struggle now is surviving
